Impact

We have always followed the principle of creating consciously and consuming mindfully as a guiding thought for design at Eleph.

We work with sustainable materials, the designs are functional and offer longevity in terms of surviving fashion cycles.

We are also extremely conscious about recycling waste and leftover fabrics into our collecitons.

Fabric scraps and side-cuttings for instance are used for the label's hangtag cords, and about 25% of the collections are created by leftover fabrications from the beautiful factories and mills we work with.

Each season is dedicated to find new solutions within the industry, whether that is finding new collaborators, new inspirational creative ideas (considering the 'leftover' Lemmy patchwork programs) or researching and meeting with equally minded future partners.

Creating authenticity goes hand in hand with creating new sustainable practices, and we are here for it!

'With my manufacturing background I had been in many factories, always a bit shocked by the amount of beautiful leftover materials that would not become a 'piece to cherish'. That always struck me as such a waste, and I imagined being able to make hundreds of collections with these lovely fabrications. By starting my own brand, I would be able to include at lease some of these fabrications and give them a purpose.'
